Territory Plan – NRSWA 1991 – Contacts
The NRSW Advisor is the Network Rail Territory street works specialist and should be the first point of contact for all Street Works related enquiries, excluding Consultations regarding methods of work that are dealt with by the offices nominated on the Asset Protection Engineer Maps.
Territory Plan – ASSET PROTECTION ENGINEER – Contacts
The Asset Protection Engineer is the point of contact for outside parties to discuss their works proposals that may affect the operational railway.
All works that will require entry to the Network Rail infrastructure must be discussed.
Cases of works in the Street/Road are particularly important if they have potential to affect rail operations. This may occur even though they are located outside Network Rail property. In all such cases the works must be discussed. A documented, Risk Assessment, Method of Work Statement and Safety Plan will be required so that it may be formally approved.
